After Discharge – Primary Angioplasty

All personal activities like dressing and bathing may be done alone. However it is advisable to have an attendant nearby in case help is required. A bedpan should never be used for passing stools as it is uncomfortable, forces an unnatural position and may increase blood pressure. A besides toilet seat is best. After discharge from the hospital a commode type toilet may be used. Squatting is less advisable.
