Acute Coronary Syndrome (Emergency Heart Condition)

Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) is a medical emergency that includes heart attack and severe angina. It happens when blood flow to the heart suddenly reduces or stops.

The main symptom is severe chest pain, often with sweating, nausea, and breathlessness. The pain may not always be very strong, especially in diabetic or elderly patients.

This condition happens when a cholesterol plaque breaks and forms a clot inside a heart artery. This blocks blood supply and damages the heart muscle.

Immediate hospital treatment is life-saving. Delaying treatment can lead to permanent heart damage or death. Early recognition and quick action are very important.
