Symptoms of heart diseases in diabetics.
Diabetics may have an additional problem called ‘Silent Angina’ or ‘Silent Heart Attack’ : ‘Silent’ because angina or heart attack may manifest little or no symptoms. The patient or his/her relatives may not suspect a hart attack at all. The chest pain and uneasiness suffered by diabetics may be mild but the heart attack could be massive and fatal. Thus, there is a warning for the diabetics. All diabetic patients must consult their doctor even if they experience a mild chest pain. In addition, they must undergo routine heart checks like ECG, Stress Test and Echocardiography regularly.
